Demonstrates a technique for patients with isolated acromioclavicular (AC) joint pathology. The direct superior approach directly visualizes and addresses the AC joint without violating the subacromial space. Using two small portals, anterior and posterior to the AC joint, the distal clavicle is arthroscopically resected in a uniform, stepwise fashion. Discusses the resection of distal clavicle without compromising the stability of the AC joint.
